If a pet passes away during the fundraising process, the planned treatment won't be taking place, or the veterinarian decides not to submit an invoice, the Pet Guardian must contact Waggle within 90 days of the campaign’s start date to offer refunds to donors. Once we hear from you, we’ll email your donors and give them the option to either have their donation refunded or apply it to help other pets in need.
Donors will have 30 days to respond. If we don’t hear back within that time, the funds will be used to provide grants for other pets. This way, donations can still make a meaningful impact, even in difficult situations.
