While this is a very rare occurrence, we are often able to work with veterinarian practices that discourage 3rd party payments.
Occasionally, a practice will state that they are unable to accept the funds raised by campaigns because they require payment at the time of service. If this is the hospital’s policy, pet guardians can discuss with their provider whether the pet’s treatment can wait until the funds have been paid or if alternate payment arrangements must be made so the pet can be seen quickly for urgent situations. Most practices will then be able to refund/credit their client when they receive the funds from their campaign.
