Waggle is committed to protecting donors on our platform by ensuring that their generous contributions are made only to veterinary providers and for the appropriate amount of care. We achieve this security by requiring that practices/hospitals send us an invoice after a campaign closes for treatment costs incurred. Verified payments in this way are one of greatest protections Waggle has established for our donors, foundations and sponsors.
In the rare instance when our team does not receive an invoice directly from the veterinary provider (simply sent to our accounting team via email), we can reach out to them to provide additional assistance. If an invoice cannot be obtained, our team providers donors an option to have their funds either refunded or applied to another pet in need.
