In some cases, a pet guardian raises funds but isn’t able to use them right away at their veterinary provider—either due to delayed treatment or because the hospital hasn't submitted their invoice yet.
To support both the guardian and the veterinarian, Waggle can hold the funds in escrow for up to 3 months (90 days). However, due to financial regulations, we’re unable to hold funds beyond that period.
If the funds raised won’t be used to pay the pet’s veterinarian, the guardian must contact us within the 90-day window. We’ll then notify the campaign’s donors and offer them the choice to receive a refund or to direct their donation toward helping another pet in need.
