We know it can be confusing if the amount paid to your veterinarian is less than what was raised on your campaign. Here are the most common reasons:
- The invoice was less than the amount raised
We can only pay out the exact amount listed on the hospital’s invoice. This helps ensure donors that their contributions are being used exactly as intended. Any unused funds don’t disappear—they go right back into Waggle’s mission by helping other pets in need through our grant programs. - The veterinarian chose not to set up e-payments
If your veterinary practice hasn’t set up e-payments, we have to issue a check instead. Because checks carry an additional processing cost, we must deduct a small fee before sending the funds.
